Handcrafted in Georgia Inspired by the earring dating to the fist half of the 4th century BC that was discovered in Sairkhe, Imereti region of Georgia. Usage of rose (Rhodes) in the earring decoration is connected to the Colkhian beliefs – it’s connected to the Deities of Sun and Fertility and is the attribute of the Great Mother Goddesses. The use of rose in the Rhodian goldsmithing of the same period is also relevant in jewelry decor and is considered to be a symbol of love, renewal, pleasure and associated with the fertility and beauty deities.
